Les and Dave are proud of the fact that the Nuns offers superb home-cooked
fresh food, real ale and fine wines.
As well as Marstons Bitter and Banks's Mild, they have Guinness, two lagers,
two ciders and sometimes has guest beers such as Bathams. They have an extensive
range of whiskies, as well as a selection of wines. I can't speak for
the rest of it, but the mild is extremely drinkable.

They cook every lunchtime, and every evening apart from Sunday and Monday.
Whenever I've eaten it's not only been excellent but very reasonable. It is advisable to book in advance (01905 830442)
, as weekends in particular can be very busy.
They also sell home cured bacon and large fresh eggs.
